Chapter 6: Sensing unit
The sensing unit consists of a camera with white LED illumination and a
processing board with intelligent computer vision processing capability.
A green LED on the connector of the
sensing unit indicates that it is correctly
connected and operational.
The unit is switched on when switch-
ing on the platform. The white LED
will illuminate during boot-up and is
switched off when ready.
The sensing unit is activated automati-
cally during the autopositioning process
when measuring charts with autoposi-
tioning lines. During this process, the
white LED will illuminate several times
the chart and pictures are taken.
