10. Disassembly
DANGER
Electric voltage!
There is danger to life when work-
ing on electrical components.

Work on electrical connections should
only be carried out by qualified electri-
cians with the supply voltage switched
off and secured against reconnection.
WARNING
Installation works
There is a risk of injury if this prod-
uct is not properly installed, disas-
sembled and put into operation.
•
Make sure the personnel has received
the appropriate training.
•
Observe the safety instructions in
„Chapter 2. Safety“.
10.1 Disassembly of the rotary
actuator
To disassemble the rotary actuator, proceed
as follows:
1.
Depressurize the valve.
2.
Remove the medium from the pipeline.
3.
Loosen the connecting screws (9) be-
tween the valve and the rotary actuator.
4.
Remove the rotary actuator from the
valve spindle.
5.
Remove any additional parts such as
shaft adapter, reducer, mounting bridge
and/or centering and store them care-
fully.

from the pipeline
If the unit is to be replaced by a structurally
identical one, it is necessary to loosen the
pipe ends of the thread of the ball valve and
then remove it.
