Remove 4 pieces of bolts on the upper part of 

front shock absorber. 

Remove shock absorber. 

 

 

 

Inspection 

Inspect if there is oil leakage in front shock 

absorber, if there is deformation of shock 

absorber arm and if there is damage or loosening 

of any part. 

 

Mounting 

Mount front shock absorber on front fork and 

mount 4 bolts. 

Torque: upper bolt 35N

·

m. 

Mount front wheel. 

Mount front fender. 

 

 

IV. FRONT FORK SERVICE 

Dismounting 

Remove motorcycle body covering parts. 

 

Remove handlebar bolt, bush and nut from 

handlebar. 

Remove handlebar. 

 

 

 

Remove steering stem setting nut. 

Remove upper bearing cup, upper bearing top 

and bearing set.
