1.12. Firewall configuration
The router firewall can be configured to only allow certain hosts to access the router and
internal LAN network or it can only allow traffic on a certain IP port to pass through to the internal
network. Up to 8 filters can be defined when the
Allow remote access only from specified
hosts
option is selected. The following parameters can be defined for each filter:

– allows access to only the specific IP address
defined in the Source IP Address

– allowed access to any IP address
Source IP
address
Host IP address that is allowed to access the router.
Protocol
Protocols allowed for remote access

– access is allowed by all
TCP
– access is allowed by TCP
UDP - access is allowed by UDP
ICMP access is allowed by ICMP
Target Port
The port number for forwarding to the internal network.
