1.27. Up/Down script
Use the
Up/Down Script
window to create scripts which will run when the PPP
connection is started or goes down. Any scripts entered into the
Up script
window will run after
a PPP/WAN connection is established. Script commands entered into the
Down Script
window
will run when the PPP/WAN connection is lost.

Example of UP/Down script: After establishing or losing a PPP connection, the router
sends an email with information about the PPP connection.
