NATURAL GAS IGNITION AND REGULATION
•
Turn the switch (1) on the control panel to the “O” position (open).
•
Turn the fuel change-over switch to the “GAS” position.
•
Check that there is water in the boiler and that the gate valves of
the system are open.
•
Make sure that the combustion products may be freely vented
through the boiler and flue dampers.
• Make sure that the mains voltage corresponds to the manufactu-
rer's requirements and that all electrical connections made at the
installation site are effected properly as illustrated in our wiring dia-
gram.
• Bleed out the air contained in the gas piping, with due precautions
and with doors and windows open.
•
Open the union on the pipe near the burner and then open slightly
the gas shut-off cocks.
• Wait the time necessary for the gas in the room to disperse outside.
Re-connect the burner to the gas pipeline.
•
Install a pressure gauge with adequate scale on the pressure outlet
of the gas pressure switch.
•
With the switch on the burner panel at the position “0” and the main
switch on, check, closing the contactor manually, that the motor ro-
tates in the right direction. If necessary, swap the two power cables
for the motor around to change the direction of rotation.
•
If using the inverter, see the specific instructions in the quick guide.
• Turn the main switch (1) to position "I" (closed) to supply power to
the equipment.
•
Close the thermostatic line by setting switch (2) to position "I" (clo
-
sed).
•
If thermostats or pressure switches (safety and boiler) are closed
as well, the burner operating cycle will start.
•
To adjust the minimum and maximum burner flow rate, refer to the
nozzle return flow/pressure diagram.
•
Keep an indicative value of O2 between 3,5 - 4 %.
•
When the burner is working at its "minimum" output, adjust the air
in the proper quantities to ensure a good combustion.
• After adjusting the air for the operation at the "minimum" output,
increase the power and proceed to define the operating curve as
described in the equipment manual.
•
Check the combustion using the specific instrument at all interme
-
diate points on the modulation curve.
•
Having finished the air and gas flow adjustment, check the actual
gas flow rate by reading the meter. Avoid keeping the burner run
-
ning if the heating capacity is greater than the maximum amount
allowed for the boiler, to avoid damaging it.
