LANCE FOR MECHANICAL SPRAYING
The lance for mechanical spraying is suitable for use with diesel.
It was designed to operate by spraying through a disk (1) and closing
with a pin (2).
The spring on the activating rod pushes the pin in the closing position,
ensuring the turning off.
The diesel that reaches the supply line is intercepted by the solenoid
valve, normally closed, that activates the piston for opening.
The piston has a fixed stroke and pulls the pin in the correct opening
position by means of the activating rod (3).
During the pre-washing phase of the burner, the pin kept the orifice
closed and the fuel circulates through the lance.
When the solenoid valve is energised, even after long periods of
inactivity, there is an immediate spraying, ensuring a perfect ignition.
The lance is suitable for supply pressures from 20 to 40 bar and fuel
temperatures up to 140°C.
The ambient temperature near the coil must not exceed 60°C.
ASSEMBLY OF ATOMISER DISKS
CAUTION / WARNINGS
All the parts must be clean without any traces of dust or other
particles.
To ensure a proper sealing, adapter, disk and orifice must not
show any sign of damage on their surfaces.
Do not use other kinds of threadlockers.
•
Slide the disk (1) on the pin (2);
•
Position the orifice (7) and the disk (1) in the correct order and
place inside the ring nut (8);
•
Apply, only on the thread of the adapter, a sufficient amount of
“Molykote HSC” threadlocker;
•
Slide the ring nut (8) containing disks (1) on the pin (2);
• Screw the rig nut (8) fully home;
• Tighten the ring nut (8) with a wrench;
•
During screwing and unscrewing operations, the lance is kept in
place by the flat sides of the adapter (9).
ASSEMBLY OF THE SOLENOID VALVE
CAUTION / WARNINGS
The parts of the solenoid valve are packed separately from the
lance to prevent damage during transportation.
All the parts must be clean without any traces of dust or other
particles.
•
Remove the cap in synthetic material from the control block;
•
Place 16.1x1.6 O-ring in the groove with the sharp edges inside
the control block, making sure not to damage it;
