TROUBLESHOOTING INSTRUCTIONS
ANOMALY
The equipment locks out with the flame
on (red light on). The fault is limited to the
flame control device.
The burner goes into lock-out spraying
liquid fuel but the flame does not ignite
(red light on).The failure is limited to the
ignition device, provided that the fuel is in
good condition (not polluted by water or
other impurities) and sufficiently atomi
-
sed.The burner goes into “lock-out”: the
gas flows, but there is no flame (red light
on).Fault in ignition circuit.
The burner goes into lock-out without
spraying fuel.
The burner does not start up.(The equip-
ment does not perform the start up pro-
gram).
POSSIBLE CAUSE
•
Photoresistance severed or fouled with
smoke.
• Boiler fouled.
• Photocell circuit failure.
• Disk or combustion heads dirty.
• Ignition circuit interrupted.
• The ignition transformer cables are di-
scharging to ground.
• The ignition transformer cables are not
well connected.
• Ignition transformer cut off.
• The electrode faces are not at the right
distance.
• The electrodes discharge to ground
because they are dirty or the insulation
is cracked. Check also under the faste-
ning terminals of the insulating elemen-
ts.
• One phase is missing.
•
Inefficient electric motor.
• Fuel does not reach the pump.
• No fuel in the tank.
• The suction pipe shutter is closed.
• Clogged nozzle.
• Thermostats (boiler or room) or pressu-
re switches are open.
• Photoresistant-cell in short circuit.
•
Lack of voltage due to the main switch
being off or to the tripping of the meter
safety switch, or voltage failure in the
mains.
•
Thermostat line not wired according to
diagram or open thermostats.
• Equipment internal fault.
REMEDY
• Clean or replace.

• Check the suction piping.
• Fill up.
• Open the shutter of the suction pipe.
• Remove and clean thoroughly.
•
Increase the value, or wait until the
thermostats or pressure switches acti
-
vate due to the natural temperature or
pressure decrease.
• Replace.
•
Activate switches or wait for power to
return.
• Check the connections and thermosta-
ts.
