STARTING UP AND REGULATION
• Check that thee voltage on the mains meets the manufacturer
requirements and that all electrical connections made at the in-
stallation site are performed properly as illustrated in our wiring
diagram.
• Verify that the discharge of combustion fumes through the boiler
shutters, flue shutters can take place freely.
• Check that there is water in the boiler and that the gate valves
of the system are open.
Check that all the gate valves fitted on the fuel suction and return
pipes are open; the same applies to any other fuel shut-off devi-
ces.
The preheater (if fitted) allows a better fuel atomisation and ensu -
res correct ignition, reliable and safe operation even at low envi -
ronmental temperatures.
The burner is equipped with a flame disk adjustment screw -11
that allows you to optimise combustion, reducing or increasing the
air passage between the disk and head.
Use the air damper adjustment screw -12 and flame disk adjust -
ment screw -11 and set to the values required to ignite the burner,
according to the fuel flow rate.
Turn the main switch to ON to power the burner and thus ignite it.
Regulate, if necessary, the combustion air output by adjusting the
air damper and the position of the flame disk using the screw -11.
Usually, you need to reduce (unscrew) the air passage -11 betwe -
en disk and head when the burner is running with limited fuel
output. On the other hand, the air passage must be larger when
the burner is working at a higher output.
After changing the flame disk position -11, adjust the positions of
the air regulation damper -12.
Check that ignition takes place properly.
