The DUNGS MB-DLE... gas valve unit is made up of:
• Minimum gas pressure switch (3)
•
Gas filter (6)
•
Pressure regulator (stabiliser) (2)
•
Quick opening and closing safety valve (built into the pressure
regulator (4)
•
Main two position valve (1st flame and 2nd flame) - slow ope
-
ning with quick initial adjustable release and quick closing (8)
•
Before proceeding with regulation, read the following specifi
-
cations.
•
1) It is possible to reach the gas filter (6) in order to clean it, by
removing one of the two side closing plates
•
The pressure stabilisation can be adjusted (see table) using
the screw which can be accessed sliding the cover (2) to one
side. The full stroke from the minimum to the maximum and vice
versa requires 60 full turns. Do not apply force against the li
-
mit switches. Before igniting the burner, make at least 15 turns
towards the + sign.Around the access opening there are arrows
with symbols indicating the rotation direction for pressure in
-
crease (clockwise) or decrease (anti-clockwise).This stabilizer
creates a hermetic closure between the "upstream" and "down
-
stream" sections when there is no flow.Different springs to
obtain different pressure value from those described above are
not foreseen. To adjust the pressure stabiliser, connect a water
gauge to the hose connection installed on the valve, to the plug
Pa (7) corresponding to the stabiliser outlet.
•
Regulation is not foreseen for the quick opening and closing
safety valve (4).
• Main valve (8).
• Regulating the initial rapid release effects the 1st and 2nd ope-
ning positions of the valve. The adjustment of rapid release and
hydraulic brake act on the first and second positions of the valve
in proportion to the flow rate adjustments. To carry out regula
-
tion, unscrew the protection cover (11) and use the back part of
it as a tool to turn the pin.
Clockwise rotation = slower quick releaseAnticlockwise rotation =
faster quick release
REGULATING THE FIRST POSITION (1ST FLAME)
•
Loosen the screw with the protruding cylindrical head (1).
•
Turn the second flame flow rate regulation knob (10) at least
1 turn in the direction indicated by the arrow with the + sign
(anticlockwise).
CAUTION / WARNING
If the 2nd flame regulation knob is not turned at least one
turn towards the +, the valve will not open for the first po
-
sition.
•
Turn the first position adjustment ring (9) to the direction indica
-
ted by the arrow + (anti-clockwise rotation).
•
As an indication, this should be a little more than two turns from
the end-of-the-stroke position.
•
Then, with only the first flame ignited, turn the ring (9) enough to
obtain the desired gas output for the first flame.
•
The full stoke of the flow regulator (from - to + and vice versa) is
of about THREE turns and a half.
• Rotation of the regulator in a clockwise direction determines a
reduction in th eoutput; rotation in an anti-clockwise direction
increases the output.
SECOND POSITION REGULATION (2ND FLAME)
•
Loosen the screw with the protruding cylindrical head (1).
•
Rotate the knob (10) in the direction indicated by the arrow for
the + sign (anti-clockwise direction) as much as considered ne-
cessary in order to obtain the gas delivery required for the 2nd
flame.
•
The complete stroke of the flow regulator (from - to + and vice
versa) is of about FIVE turns.
• Turning the regulator clockwise will reduce the output, turning it
anticlockwise will increase it.
•
After regulating the gas output for the first and second flame,
remember to tighten the screw (1) to prevent it moving from the
desired position.
