BURNER CONNECTION TO THE BOILER
The gas supply pipe must be suitably sized for the pipe length and gas
output according to the UNI Standard. It must be perfectly airtight and
properly checked before testing the burner.
It is essential to install on this piping, near the burner, a suitable fitting
to allow an easy disassembly of the burner and/or the opening of the
boiler door.
The burner is equipped with a mounting flange which slides on the
burner head.
When applying the burner to the boiler, it is necessary to correctly
position the flange so that the burner head enters the furnace to the
extent specified by the boiler manufacture.
When the burner has been correctly fit to the boiler, connect it to the
gas pipeline.
If the valve incorporates a filter and a gas pressure stabilizer, onto the
gas adduction pipeline you must fit only a shut-off cock and an anti-
vibration joint.
Only if the gas pressure is higher than the minimum level permitted by
the standards, a suitable pressure reducer must be installed on the gas
pipeline outside the heating plant.
Install an elbow directly on the burner gas train before attaching the
removable fitting, so as to allow the possibility of opening the boiler
door after opening the same fitting.

• Fit the insulating gasket (13) between the burner coupling flange and
the boiler plate.
• Secure the flange (19) to the boiler with stud bolts and relating nuts
and washers (7)
• Insert burner into flange and tighten the screw (5) with the nut (9).
DANGER / ATTENTION
During the coupling of the burner to the flange position the
combustion head axis as illustrated in the diagram (angle A).
