Error Cause Action
The BVS ID signals the error
status "System Error"
Internal system error - see
also the following entries in
this table
Possible approaches:
Power off the system and turn it on
again. Some error states can be
corrected with this.
Connect to the
BVS ID SensorApp
software with a web browser and get
information about the cause of the
problem:
Pay attention to dialogs with
error messages.
Switch from monitor mode to
config mode.
Open the "
System Settings "
dialog and select the " System "
page there.
Click on "
Download Log Files "
in the " Log files " line. A page
with a list of the system log files
opens.
Open the "
System.log " file and
navigate to the end of the file.
Look for the entry: "
Status
SystemError has been set. " The
following entry provides
information about the cause of
the internal problem.
To proceed further, observe the
following information in this
table
If the error cannot be resolved using
the following instructions, contact
Technical Support.
NOTE
The error status "System Error" is
signaled as long as the internal
problem persists. The status is
automatically reset when the
internal problem no longer exists.
This error signal cannot be
influenced by the "Reset error"
command.

