4.3.5 Measuring length – linear application
For correct function while maintaining the specified system
accuracies, the magnetic tape length must be greater than
the desired measuring length. There needs to be a reserve
at the beginning and end of the measuring range.

The maximum measuring length of the system is 8.19 m.
Magnetic tape can be purchased in rolls approx. 48 m long
or precut to a guaranteed length.
For correct function the measuring range of the sensor
head must be adapted to the magnetic tape.
