CANopen Port
The CANopen Port is a communication port specially designed for CANopen
communication. The CANopen Port connector is a 9 pin D sub type.
The procedure to mount the communication modules is the following:
1.
Turn off the unit and disconnect input power cable.
2.
Remove the 2 screws (‘A’ in Figure 2-8) holding the rear cover.
3.
Remove the cover.
4.
Plug the module into the red connectors (‘C’ in Figure 2-8).
Be sure the connectors are locked.
5.
Install the cover and the 2 screws ‘A’.
6.
Install the label shipped with the module in the area ‘B’ in Figure 2-8.

Battery Protector
For panels with a battery, be sure to remove the red plastic insulator labeled
“Remove, Battery Protection”. This is an insulator that prevents battery depletion
during shipment and storage.
