Replacement of Seals in Overpressure Assembly
1. Turn adjusting screw counter clockwise until fully removed.
Maintenance
The Slam Shut parts are subject to normal wear and must be inspected and replaced as they become worn. The frequency of
the inspection and replacement of the parts depends on the severity of the service conditions and/or the applicable government
requirements.
Inspect all parts for wear and damage. Replace all worn and damaged parts as necessary. Replace all seals when tearing down and
rebuilding the Slam Shut valve assembly.
Before disassembly, make sure the Slam Shut and
optional integrated regulator have been isolated by
closing upstream and downstream block valves.
Safely release the pressure in the lines. Failure to
complete these steps may result in personal injury
and property damage.
