Connecting a Solar Input
The TradiePack can accept unregulated solar voltage via the red Anderson connectors on both the
front and rear of the unit. The solar array connected to the TradiePack should not exceed 75V open
circuit rating or have a short circuit rating of more than 15A.
Remember, when connecting solar panels in series (positive to negative), the voltage of each panel is
added. When connecting panels in parallel (positive to positive, negative to negative), the current is
added. The front and rear red Anderson connectors are connected in parallel internally. (

It is not advised to use solar panels of different specification together, as the single MPPT tracker
within the TradiePack will not work efficiently. Always try to deploy your solar panels at the same
angle of incidence, with as little shading as possible.
A solar array with a maximum of 440W can be connected to the TradiePack.
