SAFETY & SECURITY
SECURITY
Theft
The theft of a motorhome can occur in the
most unlikely circumstance; from a motorway
area, even from an owner’s driveway.
Secure all windows and doors when your
motorhome is unoccupied even if only for a
short length of time.
Additional Security
There is a vehicle identification number in the
bottom right hand corner of the front
windscreen of your motorhome. Keep a copy
of this number in the front of this handbook.
Do not leave the handbook in the motorhome
for extended periods of storage.
Consider fitting any device that may deter or
prevent intrusion by thieves. A wheel lock
prevents removal of the wheel.
Advice about securing your motorhome,
protecting your valuables, property marking,
either at home or whilst on site, can be
obtained from your local Crime Prevention
Officer through your local Police Station.
