ADJUST INFEED / OUTFEED ROLLERS
Distances Below Cutterhead at BDC:
Infeed Roller
0.0023” (0.06mm)
Outfeed Rollers
0.0027” (0.07mm)
Pressure Bar

To ensure accurate results and make the adjustment process quicker and easier, we
recommend using a Dial indicator for these adjustments.
If a Dial indicator is not available, wood blocks and feeler gauges can be used.
Height Adjustment Using Dial Indicator
1. Make sure the cutterhead and table are parallel, and the cutterhead is at BDC. See
“Table
Parallelism
”
as needed to measure parallelism correctly and adjust if needed.
Note
: Zero the Dial indicator dial after finding the BDC of the cutterhead. This will
ensure that the following adjustments are accurate in relation to the cutterhead.
2. UNPLUG OR DISCONNECT PLANER FROM POWER SOURCE AND LOCK OUT POWER.
3. Place the dial indicator under the right-hand side of
the infeed roller and find the BDC on the blade
edge by sliding the dial indicator right to left.
4. Adjust the height of the infeed roller on the same
side as the dial indicator to the specification given
at the beginning of this procedure, using the zero
setting of the dial indicator as a reference point.
Figure 17 shows the bolt and nut for adjusting the
roller height.
5. Repeat Steps 3 & 4 for the other side of the infeed
roller.
Note
: You may have to repeat these
adjustments from side-to-side until the entire roller
height is correct.
6. Using the same zero reference point on the dial indicator, adjust the height of the outfeed
rollers to their given specifications. The adjustment bolt and nut for outfeed rollers are shown
in Figure 17.
