TABLE CHAIN TENSION
The table chain transfers movement from the table gearbox to the table elevation screws. This
chain can be adjusted to remove slack if the chain stretches over time.
5. UNPLUG OR DISCONNECT PLANER FROM POWER SOURCE AND LOCK OUT POWER.
6. Remove the left lower access panel.
IMPORTANT
:
DO NOT
let the chain fall off the sprockets during this procedure.
Returning it to its proper location without changing the table adjustment can be very difficult.
7. Loosen the cap screws on table elevation motor
bracket. (Fig. 12).
8. Slide the table elevation motor bracket to adjust
the tension of chain to proper level.
9. Tighten four cap screws.
10. Install the left lower access panel.
