STEP 19: Filler Boards
1. Measure in between the Top Rail and the Bottom Panel Board. If you are using our Custom
Framing Dimensions from earlier you should get 25-1/4”. If not then record your measure-
ment.
2. Cut two 2 x 4 boards to the 25-1/4” or to your measurement and then drill six 1/8” holes into
the board as shown below.
3. Fasten each board to the corner post and vertical post using #8 x 2-1/2” wood screws or
using the appropriate screw length for your board thicknesses.
