2. Risk and security declaration
2.1. Introduction
Disregarding the following safety instructions can lead to serious injuries,
damage to the device or material damage.

Any changes to the product are only allowed in consultation with
Bachmann GmbH. In particular, no protective or safety measures may be
changed or removed. Insofar as changes are necessary and have been
agreed with Bachmann GmbH, changes are only allowed in a voltage
free state
The use of the product is only permitted if it is in perfect condition. In the event
of any damage, problems or malfunctions, the product must be switched off
immediately and BACHMANN customer service must be contacted.
2.2. Intended use
The BN2000 Power Distribution Unit (PDU) is used exclusively as an
accessory for electrical power supply and distribution in information
technology facilities and is installed in corresponding cabinets or racks. The
BN2000 PDU (Power Distribution Unit) can be used to (remotely) monitor the
power network of a data center. The PDU monitors current, power (active,
apparent and reactive), energy consumption, voltage and frequency of all
phases. This enables efficient resource planning and alarming in the event of
a fault. Any use beyond or different from the intended use is considered
misuse.
