, please first follow the description in Point

“Oiling the gears“.
Then please remove the two motor wires from the pins on the circuit board and remove the
old motor. Then insert the new motor and connect it with the corresponding pins of the cir-
cuit board.
Your model as an AC variant
If you have decided on a LILIPUT model for the
central rail alternating current system, please
observe the following:
This model has a digital decoder installed (ESU
Lokpilot) which can be used to power your
vehicle either on an analogue basis (16 volt
AC) or digitally. Please consult the instructions
for use supplied by ESU for details on how the
decoder works. For the power pick-up from the
rail between traction rails, the slider is engaged
with the aid of a bracket
R
as per

on the
bogie. To change the slider, please use a small
screwdriver to slightly press apart the retaining arms (
L
) of the holder (
R
). This enables the
removal of the seat of the central slider from the holder
R
.
The gears are now accessible for lubricating. Also use here a standard oil with a fine can-
nula. Afterwards push the locomotive up and down a little. This distributes the oil on the
gear components located further inside the model. Repeat this procedure if required. It is
advisable to carry out maintenance work after approximately 100 hours of operation.
