Operation and Adjustments
- From back of car seat, pull Harness
Straps through the Harness Strap Slots
in back support until you have enough
strap to reach the Belt Adjuster Plate.

- Inspect the Harness Straps from the front and back of the car
seat to ensure that they are not twisted. Twisted harness straps
can prevent proper tightening of the harness and thus may
not adequately restrain your child in a sharp turn, sudden stop
or crash. Before Using the car sat, please pull on the harness
straps from the front of the car seat to ensure they are securely
re-attached.
10.6 Adjusting the Head Support
The Head Support on this Car Seat is designed to
provide maximum lateral head protection. Never
remove the Head Support from the Back Support.
The Head Support can be moved up or down through
a series of positions.
To adjust head support:
• For Type 1: Hold firmly on the top of the Back
Support and pull or push on the Head Support
to raise or lower the Head Support until the
Head Support moves into the desired position
to fit your child.
• For Type 2: To adjust Head Support down: firmly
push down on the Head Support to the desired
position, then push the Head Support Release
Handle inward to make sure it is locked.
To adjust headrest up: Pull out the Head Support
Release Handle at the back of the Head Support
and pull the Head Support to desired position.
When adjusting Head Support, make sure
the gears rest inside the slots of the Release
Handle. Push the Release Handle fully into
the Head Support.
