Harness Assembly:
WARNING!
• Harness straps must be at or above the
child’s shoulders. Failure to properly
adjust the harness on your child increases
the risk of death or serious injury in the
event of a sudden stop or crash.
a. Place Harness Assembly in seat with buckle
facing down into seat and lower ends of
shoulder straps and crotch belt toward back
support.
b. Secure harness and Crotch Belt to Seat Base.
- From the top of Seat Base, rotate the
metal harness retainer and harness
strap to position the narrow side of the
metal harness retainer into the harness
slot in the pad.
- Slide the metal harness retainer through
the harness slot opening in the Seat Pad
and Seat Base.
- Pull the metal harness retainer down
through the harness slot on the shoulder
away from the bottom of the Seat Base,
position the metal harness retainer flat
against the Car Seat and pull on the
harness strap to remove all slack.
- Check that the metal harness retainer is
flat against the surface of the Car Seat
and belt is not twisted.
- Repeat for other harness strap and
Crotch Belt.
c. Secure harness straps to Back Support.
- Thread the Harness Strap through the
Harness Slots in the Seat Pad and
Back Support at the height at or just
above the child’s shoulders.
Note: Make sure that the Harness
Straps are through the Harness Strap
Slots at the same height in the Back
Support pad and the Back Support.
