INSTALLATION
• If the Seat Angle Indicator shows level of
recline for occupants 22-35 lbs the level
line parallel with the ground, the seat is
installed at the proper angle.
• If the Seat Angle Indicator shows the
bubble
NOT
centered
between the lines
,the seat is
NOT installed
at the proper
level of recline for occupants 4-22 lbs.
If the Seat Angle Indicator label shows
level with the ground
the seat is installed
at the proper angle for occupants greater
than 22 lbs to 35 lbs.
• If the Safety Seat is too upright, place
a tightly rolled towel (Fig 54-1), or pool
noodle, under the foot end of the Safety
Seat until the level indicator bubble
indicator is centered between the lines
for occupants 4-22 lbs (Fig 54-2). Re-
tighten the vehicle seat belt as instructed
in section

• If seat angle adjuster feature does not
adjust enough to provide the proper
angle of recline, place a rolled towel, or
pool noodle, under the base at the foot
end to achieve the correct position
(Fig. 53-1)

• If the Safety Seat needs elevation on the
rear of the of the safety, place a tightly
rolled towel or pool noodle, under the
rear of the base, until the level indicator
shows thelevel line parallel with the
ground for occupants greater than 22
lbs to 35lbs (Fig 53-2).
Re-tighten the
vehicle seat belt as instructed in section

Safety Seat without Base:
Check
that the Safety Seat is level side to side on
the vehicle seat. Check the level Indicator
appropriate for the weight of the occupant
as shown in (Fig. 53-3).
• If the Seat Angle Indicator shows the
bubble centered between the lines , the
seat is installed at the proper level of
recline for occupants greater than 22 lbs.
