mConnect Control
Some features supported by the CX-8 may only be
available through the “mConnect Control” application.

Spotify
With a Spotify Premium account, the CX-8 becomes an
available Spotify Connect device. Using the Spotify
application, select the “Ayre CX-8” as the playback
device.
Roon
Roon is an advanced and powerful software application
capable of relating, organizing and playing back a large
digitally stored music library. As shipped from the
factory, the CX-8 is a “Roon Ready Endpoint”, which
will allow you to connect to and control the CX-8 from
a Roon control application.
Generic UPnP Applications
A variety of applications across platforms support the
DLNA standard, which allows them to stream music
files to the CX-8. Searching for “UPnP control apps” in
your device’s application store will help you find
available options.
