To begin streaming audio to your CX-8 over the
network, you will first need to set up your connection.
The CX-8 can be connected either with a standard
Ethernet cable or with the included USB Wi-Fi adapter.
Once set up, the CX-8 will be available for playback
from a variety of applications.
Connection integrity has a significant effect on sound
quality. The best quality audio will be achieved with a
short, hard-wired connection to your home network. If a
wireless connection is required, the best performance will
be achieved by keeping the distance between your CX-8
and wireless router to a minimum.
Once connected to your home router with a standard
Ethernet cable, the CX-8 will automatically connect to
your home network and be available for use by any
devices connected to the same network.
