2. Registration
2.1.
User types of the SMARTPortal
The SMARTPortal user registers either as
owner
,
team member
, or
shared user
using his e-mail address.

Owner
The owner receives a system-generated user key which must be entered into the headends and servers.
For example, the owner may invite employees of his company as team members. These have access to
all devices of the owner.
An owner may also share access to one or more devices in inviting other users.

Team member
A team member must be invited by an owner to get access to the devices.
A team member registers to the SMARTPortal in only entering his e-mail address and password (no
individual user key will be received).

Shared user
A shared user must be invited by an owner to get access to this device.
A shared user registers to the SMARTPortal in only entering his e-mail address and password (no
individual user key will be received).
2.2.
Register as owner
The owner receives a system-generated user key.
The owner must enter the user name and user key in all of his headends and servers. The devices connect
automatically to the SMARTPortal and can now be managed, configured, monitored and maintained from
anywhere.
