3.3.
Share device
An owner can share access to a device. As a result, for example, a project manager, facility manager or SAT / IT
specialist may be invited to assist with the configuration or maintenance of the headend or middleware server.
3.3.1.
How to share a device
Click on the
+ sign
to the left of the device to
be shared.
Further menu items for the device are opened.
Click on
Share
.
Under
Share Devices
, enter the shared user's e-mail address.
Click
Send sharing e-mail
.

If the shared user is already registered at the SMARTPortal, the shared user will receive an e-mail from
the system "You are a new shared..." and is entered under
Already shared with.

If the shared user is not yet registered on the SMARTPortal, you will receive a corresponding message

The new shared user receives an e-mail from the system with the message: "Register at the
SMARTPortal ..."
After registering, the shared user will receive an e-mail from the system with the message: "You are a
shared user..." and the shared user is added to the list of shared users.
