Front Panel Control - Functional Mode Button
The AC-MX-42X has two switching modes Matrix and DA (Distribution Amplifier).
1. Matrix Mode - The two outputs can be switched independently by pressing either
the OUT1 SELECT button or the OUT2 SELECT button.
Note: In MATRIX MODE the FUNCTIONAL MODE led will be off.
2. DA Mode - The two outputs will switch together. This means if you switch OUT1 to INPUT2 with the
front panel OUT1 SELECT button, OUT2 will also switch to INPUT2. This is the same if you change
inputs using any of the available control options (front panel, LAN, RS-232, IR, etc).
Note: In DA MODE the FUNCTIONAL MODE led will be on.
Front Panel Control - Matrix Mode Switching
The AC-MX-42X can switch the two OUTPUTS independently from the front panel by pressing the OUT1
SELECT or OUT2 SELECT buttons
1. Press the OUT1 SELECT button to cycle through the 4 available inputs.
2. Press the OUT2 SELECT button to cycle through the 4 available inputs.
Front Panel Control - DA Mode Switching
The AC-MX-42X can switch the two OUTPUTS at the same time from the front panel by pressing either the
OUT1 SELECT or OUT2 SELECT button.
1. Press the OUT1 SELECT button to cycle through the 4 available inputs on both outputs.
2. Press the OUT2 SELECT button to cycle through the 4 available inputs on both outputs.
