5. In the left panel, click
Devices,
then click the
Add Device
button.
6. You can add an existing device type (one created previously) or add a new device type.
If this is your first time registering a device, click the
Create device type
button.
If you are creating a device type, you will need to enter various parameters to associate
with the device type. For example, the manufacturer (Avnet) or the serial number which
is located on a white sticker on the bottom of the board.
7. Click the
Create device type
button (again) on the updated browser page.
8. Fill in the
Name
and
Description
of the new device type. You can follow the example
below or enter information of your choosing. Click the
Next
button at the bottom right.
9. In the
Create Device Type
panel, click in the check box next to
Manufacturer
to select it.
Click the
Next
button.
