Description
IPv4 Address:
The address devices on the LAN will use to communicate to the
router. The address devices on the LAN will use as a gateway.
Subnet:
Subnet mask the router will use to communicate to devices
on the LAN.
DHCP LAN Server
Enabled:
Choice to enable the DHCP server on the LAN.
DHCP Pool Beginning:
The Start of the DHCP pool that the router will dispense to
DHCP clients.
DHCP Pool Ending:
The End of the DHCP pool that the router will dispense to
DHCP clients.
NAT Rules Enabled:
Choice to enable NAT rules that allow communication from
the WAN network and passes it to the controller and remote
power cycle device.
NAT rules perform the task of mapping the controller to all requests and responses coming from the ‘Controller WAN
IP’ to the AAQ Controller’s service IP (192.168.129.51). This allows the control of the controller from a user on the
WAN network. All traffic destined for the ‘Controller WAN IP’ will be forwarded to the controller.

Customer Network Setup (WAN)
The WAN should include all equipment that the controller needs to communicate with gateway or firewall
protection. All modem router combination devices must be on this network. The WAN is commonly referred to as
the customer network and does not usually contain AAQ devices. The router can be configured to have the
