3.2.
Control Pad Command and Control Operation
The control pad is the main user input device to the CIP. The control pad consists of four directional buttons and two
buttons for
STOP
and
GO
; however it should be noted that the
STOP
and
GO
buttons are dual function and are
dependent on current displayed menu screens. See images below for further detail.
I.
STOP
(Escape):

STOP
= Short Press
b.
STOW
= Long Press (3 seconds)
II.
GO
(Enter):
a.
ENTER
= Short Press
b.
AQUIRE
= Long Press (3 seconds)
NOTE
-
If the antenna is removable, a Prompt Screen will be sent by the controller which will
require the user to use the Up/Down keys to select a response and then press the GO key to send the response to AAQ.
A prompt confirmation is required to continue to
STOW
after removing the antenna or to continue
AQUIRE
after
installation is complete.
