the RC70 remote to the original factory settings for the following
parameters:

All presets revert to empty
•
Normal tuning Mode
•
Passwords revert to factory default “0000”
Pressing “No” at anytime will exit you back to the Secure Options
menu.
Note: Restoring Factory Defaults only restores the above settings
in the RC70 Wireless Remote. This does not revert the MLB700
back to its default settings. For more information about the
MLB700 factory defaults please refer to your Multi-Function
Display Pilot’s Operating Handbook.
Universal Mode
Universal Mode is essentially an idle mode, since button presses
are not transmitted to the MLB700. Activation of the
SET
button in Universal Mode permits configuration of the RC70
remote. You must put the RC70 remote in Sirius Mode by
pressing the
SIRIUS button in order to operate with the
MLB700.
Presets
You can store up to 30 of your favorite channels as presets for
easy tuning. There are 10 presets per band, A, B, and C, and
channels are assigned preset numbers 0—9, for example, A1, A2,
B1, C1, etc. The current band is displayed in the upper right
corner of the default screen (Figure 3), and if the current channel
is saved as a preset, the preset number will also be displayed, for
example, C6.
