When this mode is entered the display will clear. As numeric
buttons (0—9) are entered to select a channel, the numbers will
appear on the display in line 2.
A channel can be tuned directly by pressing the numeric buttons
in one of the following sequences:
DIRECT – 1– 2 – 3
DIRECT – 1 –
DIRECT
DIRECT – 1 –
SELECT
DIRECT – 1 – 2 –
DIRECT
DIRECT – 1 – 2 –
SELECT
DIRECT – 1 – “Timeout”
DIRECT – 1 – 2 – “Timeout”
Note: The DIRECT button places you into the Direct Access
Control Mode. It only has to be pressed once. If three digits, for
example 1, 2, 3, are input, the channel will be tuned automatically.
If an invalid input is detected, an invalid channel message will be
displayed as described in the Sirius Special Display Messages
section.
Sirius Menu Options Mode
Pressing the
MENU button enters the Menu Options Mode.
The Menu Options Mode does not support radio tuning operations.
The “Menu Options” title will always be displayed on the top line
and menu items listed below. There are at least three items in the
menu list, Signal Indicator, Configuration, and Sirius ID. The item
listed in line 2 will be highlighted. (Figure 10)
