7.1 - zOne SaBBiOSe
nel caso lo stativo debba essere usato in
zone particolarmente sabbiose (spiagge,
deserti etc.) é opportuno asportare il grasso
dal meccanismo del portaruote (fig. 14)
mediante l’uso di detergenti o diluenti al fine
di evitare che la sabbia formi con il grasso
un impasto bloccante.
La stessa regola vale anche per la vite
del levelling jack o per qualsiasi altro
meccanismo che possa entrare in contatto
con la sabbia.
7.2 - zOne fangOSe e SaLine
prima di usare lo stativo in zone fangose o
ad alta concentrazione salina e preferibile
ingrassare accuratamente tutte le parti
mobili (ingranaggi, levelling jack, punti di
giunzione delle gambe sulle crociere, mozzi
delle ruote etc.).
per evitare la corrosione è opportuno,
terminato l’uso pulire accuratamente tutto
lo stativo asportando così ogni residuo di
fango o di particelle di sale.
7.3 - zOne fredde e umide e
prima di usare lo stativo in zone fredde e
umide è opportuno ingrassare tutte le parti
mobili e i meccanismi esterni.
Se lo stativo dovesse rimanere per parecchio
tempo all’esterno e con temperature
particolarmente basse potrebbe formarsi del
ghiaccio sulle colonne.
La formazione di ghiaccio può causare
anomalie sul movimento delle colonne: è
molto importante che la leva colorata di
sicurezza “L” (fig. 15) sia sempre operativa.
Questo è possibile verificarlo procedendo
come segue:
- verificare che il commutatore del cricco “i”
sia in posizione “up” (fig. 16)
- sollevare leggermente la colonna
che si desidera controllare ruotando
la manovella “j” in senso orario e

7.1 - Operating in a SandY LOcatiOn
(BeacheS, deSert, etc.)
remove lubricating grease from joints,
threads and bearings to prevent sand mixing
with the grease adversely effecting the
operation of the stand (fig. 14).
7.2 - muddY and SaLtY LOcatiOn
Before the stand is used in a muddy or salty
environment, all joints, threads, moving
parts of the stand should be greased. after
working in this environment the stand must
be thoroughly cleaned.
7.3 - Operating in cOLd and damp
LOcatiOn

make sure all joints threads and bearings
are greased. if the stand is to be operated for
long period at below freezing temperatures,
take care to ensure the safety lever “L”
(fig. 15) is fully operative.
to check this, crank the stand up a few
centimetres and press down the safety
lever; repeat this action a few times to
ensure it functions correctly.
if the columns or the mechanism are iced
up, try to de-ice but do not expose to direct
flame or use a de-icing fluid (joints and
bearings will be attacked by this).
