extension and viewing the display name for the called extension.
In order for this to happen the first port and the MWI port for the
DMI must be logged onto the system. In the case where less than
4 ports are used and the MWI port (4
th
by default) is not used,
the DMI will not be able to produce the name table. Thus any
calls coming into this unit may not be integrated, if the extension
name is anything other than the extension number.
If the customer has multiple DMI devices, then the last port on
the device must be set to do MWI. The MWI port uses the fourth
port by default, however, if only two ports are populated, this
setting must be changed to a series of ten (2’s) twos.
