174 Installing and Configuring the IG550 Integrated Gateway
Retrieving the craft password of the TGM550 (Avaya
services personnel only)
To log in as
craft
to the TGM550, you need to retrieve the craft password from services support.
To retrieve the craft password, you need the AF ID, also known as the product ID. If you do not
have the AF ID, do the following:
1. From the router cli prompt (
>
), type
ssh init@
<ip_address>
, where
<ip_address>
is
the IP address of the TGM550, and press
Enter
.
The message,
Are you sure you want to continue connecting?
appears.
2. Enter
yes
.
The following challenge prompt appears:
Challenge: 370-21039 Product ID:7000051921
Response:
Write down the Product ID (the AF ID), and contact services support to retrieve the craft
password.
Restoring the old authentication file on a new TGM550
If you want to remove the authentication file because you have to replace the TGM550 during
an installation or upgrade, perform the following steps:

CAUTION:
CAUTION:
This procedure should be performed only on a replacement TGM550, not on a
new installation of TGM550.
1. Obtain a replacement authentication file from the Authentication File Server (AFS). For this,
you need the existing AF ID.
2. Save the replacement file on your laptop.
3. If you are not using a TFTP or FTP server on your laptop to load the license, upload the
replacement authentication file on a TFTP, FTP, or SCP server in the customer network.
4. Replace the TGM550.
5. Log in to the new TGM550.
6. Type
erase auth-file
.
This command erases the factory-installed authentication file.
