Chapter 7: Upgrading an IG550 Integrated Gateway

and a Juniper J4350/J6350 Services
Router

In this scenario, the customer upgrades an IG550 Integrated Gateway to release 1.2 and
the J4350 or J6350 Services router to release 8.4 or later. This upgrade is necessary if the
customer wants to use the new TIM508, TIM516, or TIM518, or if the customer is upgrading
the Communication Manager server to Release 5.0. An upgrade may be necessary for
other maintenance issues for the TGM550.

In all upgrade cases, the Juniper software version must match the version of
TGM550.

Downloading the most recent firmware for the TGM550
