R = Receiving Mailbox
S = Sending Mailbox

X = Ignore Character

Valid Characters are:

~  $  *  #  0-9  A-D  F  N  T

Note:  In the above listing, first four entries, without X’s, should suffice,

but initial character screening does not work with all
installations; we are still trying to understand why.  Entries with 7
X’s after the ~ will handle calls from apparently invalid
mailboxes, such as outside calls passing caller information (trunk
or network).  Inband codes can be fine tuned by editing them
under Options, System Setup, Inband Page 2.  If editing for other
than 3 or 4 digit mailboxes, ensure than the total of number of Xs
plus number of digits in mailbox is 7.
