3. BEFORE SWITCHING ON
3.1 FILLING WITH WATER
Before connecting to the electricity supply socket outlet, untwist the cap and fill the tank via the
funnel with clean, water (take care not to overfill). Filling the tank with warm water will reduce the
heating time to generate steam. Replace the cap, an acoustic alarm (buzzer) and lamp will operate
to indicate when the water tank requires re-filling.
Caution: it is absolutely compulsory to add to the water tank the anti-limestone product
recommended by the manufacturer. The amount to be added is three sprays for each liter of
water. The lack or use of wrong amount of anti-limestone causes serious problems resulting
from failure/misuse of the product, the use of a different product and in general from damage
caused by limestone.
3.2 ACCESSORIES: CHARACTERISTICS AND ASSEMBLING
STEAM HOSE (1, Fig. 2)
The steam hose is the main accessory for using all the accessories for steam cleaning. The steam
plug completes the functionality of the handle with the connection to the steam socket.
The handle has been created to have an excellent ergonomics of use and it’s supplied with a sliding
secure lock that prevents the accidental starting.
The hooking system with the tube is automatic at the connection and requires a working only for
the release.
Lift the hinged cover on the lower front of the steam generator and fit the hose plug connector. The
socket must be completely put and the fixing peg must be positioned in the cleft on the shutter.
The hose MUST be properly connected, otherwise the solenoid valve will not operate and thus
steam cannot be delivered through the hose or attachments. To work safely and correctly the steam
hose MUST be fully connected to both the steam outlet ‘A’ and the socket contacts ‘B’ (Fig. 9). In
the steam hose hand grip a push button on the underside MUST be held ON to electrically open the
solenoid steam delivery valve next to it, there is a slider that, when shifted to the button, prevents it
from moving. This feature prevents the accidental delivery of steam and can be used as a security
lock.
Please note that the slider does not constitute a safety device but simply a protection, you
must comply with all instructions listed in this manual use regardless the cursor.
The handgrip incorporates a connector suitable for fitting a variety of accessories and extension
tubes to suit the cleaning application. To connect tubes or nozzles to the hand grip (Fig. 10). In order
to remove perfectly each accessory from the extension tube, press on black button without forcing
the extension tube (Fig. 11).
CAUTION: Ensure that all tubes and/or accessories are firmly attached to each other. Poor
connections can result in scalding! All accessory brushes have holes to allow the steam at
120°C out - do not let the steam contact skin - danger of scalding!
