If a station does not broadcast additional information on the
program, the text box remains empty.
15 Update
The software of the receiver can be updated easily using the menu "Tools"
"Software upgrade by OTA". There is an automatic check whether the software
currently installed on the receiver is up-to-date.
If this is not the case, the current software version is downloaded via
satellite
and loaded to the receiver.
Another way is to load current software via
RS232.
For the corresponding update file refer to Support area on the
web site www.avanit.tv
16 Cleaning
Risk of electric shock!
Liquids must be prevented from entering the unit.
Never clean the receiver with a moist cloth.
Pull the mains plug from the mains socket before cleaning.
Attention!
Do not use any solvent-containing cleaners such as benzin
or thinner.

Clean the housing of the receiver with a dry cloth.
17 Shutdown and Storage of the Receiver

Disconnect the receiver and the connected units from the power supply.

Pull all connected cables.

Remove the batteries from the remote control.
