Selecting the Resolution Function:
The ‘Resolution’ function represents the
most “dangerous” of the user adjustments because a misstep here can cause the
picture to disappear and once gone it is very difficult to
recover because you are simply taking wild stabs at
getting the image back. For this reason, unless you are
absolutely certain
you know the resolution capabilities of
your m onitoring device,
DO NOT
make any adjustm ents
to this parameter.
On the other hand, if you are certain of the capabilities of
your monitor, you can use this function to optimize the
resolution thereby obtaining the sharpest, brightest and
most colorful image possible.
Selecting the OSD Function:
OSD means On Screen Display and this function
allows you to set the screen position and color of the text messages that are
displayed by the AVT-3400.

Again, the same
procedure as before is
used for changes: The
Up and Down arrow
buttons allow the
selection a parameter
to change followed by
pressing the Select
button to store the
change.
The Exit button returns
your AVT-3400 to
normal operation.
The procedure is a bit
different this time. The
Up and Down arrow
buttons allow the
selection of a para-
meter to adjust as
before but once the
OSD Position function
is selected, you use
the Up and Down as
well as the Left and
Right arrow buttons to
set the position and
then press the Select
button to lock it in.
