3.2.1. Mode:
Allows the guard porter to configure the SB in the
Standard mode
, the
Direct mode
or
the
Not Disturb
mode, selecting the desired mode making use of the vertical arrows
,
and the
OK
button.
The
Mode menu
can also be reached directly from the
Stand by
mode pressing the down
key
of the navigator.
The modes of operation have already been described (page 3).
3.2.2. Ringtone:
The warning ringtones, that the switchboard generates when it receives a call, can be
configured in this menu. Ringtones are defined by three parameters:
Type:
There are 8 different kinds of ringtones.
Number of Ringtones:
Times the ringtone is repeated. From 0 (mute) to 4.
Volume:
There are 3 volume levels.
The value of these settings can be modified through
,
keys. If
OK
key is
pressed, a sample ringtone will be generated with the current settings.
To exit from this menu, choose the option
“Back”
and confirm with
OK
.
3.2.3. Audio:
The parameters of audio input and output can be modified in a similar way that
in the previous settings, using
,
keys.
To exit from this menu, choose the option
“Back”
and confirm with
OK
.
3.3. Configuration:
From this menu you can make settings related to how the SB has been installed, so that
access is protected by a password.
To access a password will be required from one to nine digits. The factory password is
“9”. It is recommended to change the password because the user must not change the
installation parameters.
3.3.1. Parameters:
This parameter refers to the type of installation.
Installation: External / Internal.
Use
OK
to change between
Internal
(if
the SB has been mounted on a single Z bus without SDLs) or
External
(If
the SB is connected to the X line of an SDL).
SDL MASTER: ON/OFF
. Use
OK
to
enable the SDL MASTER mode,
just in case the SB must be connected to a B line of a special SDL
VISUALTECH-E. Talk to customer support for more details.
