Operating Modes
The SB comes with three different operation modes: Standard mode, Direct mode and
Not Disturb mode. These operation modes, work only with calls coming
from the outdoor
panel
. If the calls come from the tenants inside the building, the SB will always make the
ringing tones, doesn’t matter which mode it’s configured.
Standard Mode
: The SB intercepts all the incoming calls made from the panel. If
they are not attended during the next 30 seconds, they will be passed through
automatically to the tenants.
Direct Mode
: All the incoming calls made from the panel will be automatically
passed through to the tenants. The SB won’t be able to interfere the call. If the SB
receives a zero code (call to the SB), it will make the ringing tones.
Not Disturb Mode
: It works exactly the same as the Standard mode, but if the
incoming calls are not attended during the first 30 seconds, they will not be passed
to the tenants anymore.
Installation configuration
The SB can be installed as
internal
or
external
.
This parameter should be set at the
start because it depends on the wiring
. See section 3 “Menus”, section 3.3 “Configuration” in
this document to change it. The configuration is password protected.
Internal Installation
: There are no SDL´s in the installation and t
here is only one Z
bus between panels and monitors/telephones
. The SB is installed in this bus.
External Installation
:
The installation was carried out with SDL´s. There is
therefore a general bus Zx for general access, and as many buses as SDL´s are
mounted. The SB will be installed in the general access bus.
