If the subscription was not successful (if the message „subscription failed“ appears on the display),
it might have the following causes:
- The base station was not in the subscription mode because the pushbutton has not been pressed
long enough (the LED must flashes alternately in red and green colors) or the time window of 60
seconds has been exceeded.
- The handset has already been subscribed. In this case you can select the serial number of the
base station in the menu „subscription“ under „select base“.
- During the subscription the handset was too close to the base station. Repeat the subscription
procedure at least half a meter away from the base station.
- The list of the subscripted handsets in the base station is full. Unused handsets should be
chapter Logout of the Handset from the Base Station on page 19
If you like to check the serial number of the base station, you will find it on the sticker on the back
of the base station (see

Enter the last 4 digits of the serial number of the
base station (in this example „3 3 1 4“) and confirm
the entry by pressing OK.
The subscription may take some seconds.
A positive confirmation tone can be heard and the
display changes into the idle menu.
