In any program where you can write or draw on the
screen, you can also quickly capture thoughts,
reminders, and phone numbers by recording a
message.
In Calendar, Tasks, and Contacts, you can include a
recording in an item.
In Notes, you can either create a stand-alone
recording or include a recording in a written note.
In Phone, you can create a note during an active call.
In Inbox, you can add a recording to an email
message.
To create a recording in Notes:
1. Tap ,

If you want to include the recording in a note, open the
note first.
2. Tap
on the command bar.
3. Position your device's built-in microphone near your
mouth or other source of sound.
You can also use the microphone built-in the headset
stereo/earphone microphone bundled with your device
to create a recording.
4. On the Recording toolbar, tap
.
5. Tap to
stop
recording.
The new recording appears in the note list or as an
embedded icon.

To select a drawing:
If you want to edit or format a drawing, you must select
it first.
Tap and hold the stylus on the drawing until the
selection handle appears.
To select multiple drawings, deselect the P

and then drag to select the drawings you want.
To edit a drawing:
1. Tap and hold the selected drawing.
2. Tap an editing command on the pop-up menu, or tap

To resize a drawing:
1. Make sure the P

is not selected.
2. Drag a selection handle until the desired size is
attained.
