Holding conference calls
An external call can be connected to a further internal subscriber as a conference call.
In this way, two mobile units can talk to the external caller simultaneously.
Establish the required connection with the external subscriber.
Then call the internal mobile unit. To do this, press the
OPTIONS
display button
and choose the
INTERCOM
function. Press the number of the required mobile
unit. You can also select the required mobile unit with the cursor and make the
connection with the
OK
display button. If the internal call is not accepted, press the
CANCEL
display button and you will be connected to the external subscriber once
more.
If the internal call is accepted by the selected mobile unit, press the
OPTIONS
display button again and choose the
CONFERENCE
function. Both internal mobile
units will now be connected to the external subscriber.
To end the conference call, press the
OPTIONS
display button on one of the
mobile units. Then select the
EXIT CONF.
function and confirm with
OK
. Only one
mobile unit will then remain connected to the external subscriber. The call can be
terminated here with the
button.
11.4 Logging on and logging off mobile units
11.4.1 Logging on DECT6500 mobile units
If the mobile unit has not yet been logged on to a base station, press the
REG.
display button. Otherwise, press the
MENU
display button. Then select
SYSTEM
from the menu and confirm with
OK
.
Press
the
OK
display button once.
Press and hold the page button
on the base station until you hear several
signal tones. Now log on the new mobile unit to the base station within 60
seconds.
Now enter the PIN code of the base station (factory setting 0 0 0 0) and confirm
with
OK
. A search will now be carried out for the base station.
As soon as the base station has been found, the internal number that has been
allocated to the mobile unit will appear briefly in the display. The mobile unit is
logged on and can be used for external and internal calls. An internal number will
be automatically assigned to the mobile unit. The main mobile unit already logged
on has the internal number 1. All further mobile units that are logged on will be
numbered in the sequence in which they were logged on (internal phone numbers
2 to 4). This internal telephone number will be indicated on the right of the display
next to the name.
11.4.2 Logging on other DECT-GAP telephones to the base station
In order to log on a DECT-GAP mobile unit from another manufacturer, follow the
instructions in the other supplier's operating manual and then press the
button
until you hear several signal tones.
Use the PIN-Code 0 0 0 0 to log on.
Due to the large number of different mobile units, it is not possible to guarantee all
the functions provided.
