Changing the PIN code
Registration and deregistration of handsets are protected against unauthorised use
by a PIN code. The PIN code can comprise of up to eight digits. When delivered, the
PIN code is “0000”. Proceed as follows to change the PIN code:
1. Press the Menu button

2. Press the

and
E
buttons to select the
SETTINGS
menu.
3. Confirm by pressing the
F
button.
4. Press the
B
and
E
buttons to select the
PIN CODE
menu.
5. Confirm by pressing the
F
button.
6. Enter the base station PIN code using the digit keys
(default setting: 0000) and confirm it by pressing
F
.
7. Enter the new PIN code using the digit keys and
confirm the entry by pressing
F
.
8. Enter the new PIN code again using the digit keys
and confirm the entry by pressing
F
.
9. Press the
C
button to exit from the menu.
Note:
If the old PIN code is not entered correctly, the
process is cancelled.
Note:
If you forget the PIN code, restore the default setting (refer to Chapter
9.2.5).
11.2
Internal calls (intercom function)
As soon as several handsets are registered on a base station, they can be used for
internal calls.
1. Press the
G
button.
2. Press the number of the required handset.
3. The call is taken on the receiving handset by pressing the Call button
A
.
Note:
If an external call is received during an internal call, short acoustic signals
are issued and the caller’s number appears in the display, if available.
4. End the internal call by pressing the
C
button and take the external call by
pressing the
A
button on one of the handsets.
