10.11.3 Playing back messages via remote access
1. Call your own phone number and wait for the answering machine to take
the call.
2. While the outgoing message is being played, press the Asterisk button and
then enter the three-digit PIN code. In the event of an incorrect entry, the
outgoing message is repeated. Press the Asterisk button again and enter
the PIN code correctly.
Note: If the PIN code is entered incorrectly three times, the line is automatically
disconnected.
3. The Options menu is played back immediately.
4. Press the “2” button to play back the recorded messages.
5. After the messages have been played back, other functions can be
executed via remote access within the following 8 seconds. Refer to the
table in Chapter 10.11.4.
Note: If no entry is made within 8 seconds, the line is automatically disconnected.
6. Replace the receiver to stop remote access.

The functions assigned to the buttons are dependent on the mode currently activated.
The following table provides an overview of the respective functions assigned to the
individual buttons.
